I think currently America is its own greatest enemy. The 2 party system is a huge problem, both parties just spend all their time stopping the other from doing anything. Big businesses influence in politics is a huge problem. The country is no longer ‘by the people, for the people’ it is ‘by the corporation, for the corporation’.

1. Global warming-has been proven by scientists to be nothing more than falsehoods built around the fears that the ice caps are melting and going to be gone forever and greenhouse gases. Governments mislead the public to gain more access to more regulations which empty out more pockets in "taxes." So not America’s greatest enemy

6. RELIGION. America’s greatest enemy? Religions have proven themselves to be the enemy not just of America but the "world" as a whole. In Christianity alone, over "200 million" innocent peoples have been slaughtered, cultures devastated and societies destroyed, and that is just in the last 17 centuries. Islam? Did pretty much the same as Christians since it’s beginnings in the 6th century and fanatics of this religion are still doing it to the world. (Terrorists) The list goes on and on.
The world’s greatest enemy is religious DELUSIONS which are brought about by FEAR. One of it’s greatest culprit’s just happens to be the need to kill "evil" by these kind who can not stand to let others live out their lives in peace on this planet, nor can they allow their God to sit on the throne for they vainly seek to tell him how matter will be run on earth. It is why the killing never ceases and never "will" cease. Which brings about the thought of why the Devil was tossed out of heaven. For thinking he was better than GOD at doing his job.

I have to add though that any democracy/ republic (especially america right now EG the recent supreme court decision allowing unprecedented access from corporations into campaigning) is at great risk when power and wealth are coalesced into the hands of a few. its no surprise that as ‘top-down’ economics, anti-union legislation, and free trade have emerged onto the scene over the last 30 years we’ve seen an unprecedented redistribution of wealth to the upper class while the ‘average’ american has seen quality of life standards (education, upward mobility, real earnings to inflation ratios… ect) slip away while we’ve watched both parties (having only two parties and what has happened thanks to it is another example of concentrated power working against the general populous) turn into shells for the interests of the oligarchy class while more and more americans find themselves ‘left behind.’
