Any fans of Tragedy Khadafi in here?
I’ve always been a big fan of Trag, and it’s a shame he never blew up with the Juice Crew the way the rest of the members did. I recently saw an interesting documentary on him, and it left me with some questions.
Here’s the documentary if anyone’s interested:

Since the documentary just breezed through certain parts, here are some Q’s I have…
Q1: The documentary begins and ends with them implying Noreaga set up Tragedy by telling him he wanted to meet up with him to put together a documentary about 25 To Life, and instead, Nore never shows up and cops run up on Trag and arrest him again. I knew Trag had beef with Nore a few years after Trag helped him get in the game, but why would Nore set him up? It’s one thing to not wanna work with someone anymore for whatever reason, but gettin the cops involved and gettin someone who fathered your whole style locked up is beyond grimy. I would think something like that would get a rapper blackballed from the industry or at least his own crew, but everyone in QB continued working with Nore after that happened. Do you know if there was any truth to it? Do you know if, and how, their beef was resolved?
Q2: When the East/West beef started, Trag was the first to step up and defend NYC with "L.A. L.A." with a bunch of other QB cats in response to DPG & Snoop’s "NY NY." In the documentary, Trag says he reached out to others to get on the track including Fat Joe, and he didn’t want to do it. But Fat Joe was on LL Cool J’s "I Shot Ya (Remix)" which was supposedly a subliminal diss track to Tupac after he got shot. Do you think that was a real diss track, or did LL just claim it was years later for street cred?
Q3: In the documentary, Killa Sha says Trag ran up on Marley Marl in his apartment and held him at gunpoint for his SP1200 and his publishing. Do you know if there’s any truth to this?
Q4: What did you think of the segment about Nas never coming to the hood? From what I hear, Nas gets robbed every time he comes to the hood, even if it’s just for a video shoot, so that might be a reason. Aside from that, one guy in the video explains that everyone was always looking for handouts when he did come back to QB. Do you think a rapper should still live in the hood if he’s gonna rap about it, or do you think it’s okay if he grew up there and now just visits with bodyguards and camera crews for video shoots to maintain an image?

I know that’s a lot of questions so if you don’t answer those, here’s a few short ones…
BQ1: What’s your favorite Tragedy Khadafi album?
BQ2: What are your favorite tracks that he’s done or has been featured in?
q1: that’s news to me. i don’t believe noreaga would do that. not saying it can’t happen but cops run up on everyone nowadays especially in ny.
q2: nah i dont think it was a diss track. LL could of just said that years later which is a b*tch move. it’s funny how cnn/ tragedy and mobb deep stepped up and jay-z and all these other ny rappers were quiet as hell.
q3: yeah i could see tragedy doing that. trag did a bid in late 80’s up north too for robbery.
q4: if you don’t live there you shouldnt be rapping bout it.
bq1: still reportin. blood ballads
bq2: have alot. def was feeling the cnn, imam thug and tragedy mid 90’s queens was on fire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cf4gP67me 5Q
